Electronic Data Interchange
Hello and welcome to the IAIABC Electronic Data Interchange Project!

The goal for EDI in workers' compensation is the seamless processing of information from its initial reporting source, wheterh that is the employer, insurance company, calimant or medical provider, to a jurisdiction.

IAIABC EDI standards cover the transmission of Claims, Proof of Coverage, and Medical Bill Payment information through electronic reporting.  The standards are developed and maintained through a consensus process that brings together representatives from jurisdictions, claim administrators, vendors, and others interested in participating.
Learn more about the EDI Project.
