The Mission of SAWCA's Administration and Procedures Committee is to provide a forum for the open exchange of information that assists member jurisdictions in resolving administrative issues and facilitating improvements in a workers' compensation system.

The Administration and Procedures Committee - July 24, 2008 – 2PM

On Thursday a panel comprised of Judge Zaring Robertson, a Federal ALJ, Stan Haynes, a defense attorney from Maryland, and Larry Pascal, a claimant’s attorney from Virginia will share with us their expertise from 2pm to 3:15pm. Committee Chair Judge Melodie Belcher from Georgia will be your moderator as you explore the topics including a discussion of the procedure for “Medicare Coverage Disputes” and “A Comparative Analysis of Workers’ Compensation Systems/Federal Systems.”

Additional time will be allocated to discuss and compare healthcare costs from different states and to examine current trends. Rounding out the committee meeting will be a time of open discussion and sharing with opportunities for participants to bring forth concerns and/or successes within their jurisdictional programs.
